  As it so happens I was in Benidoleig a couple of weeks ago as Google suggested, but not to reside in the Casa Rural Vicent de Pura, but for a house warming party with my friends who have recently moved there and it looks as if they are living close to above mentioned Casa Rural.

  So why not book into the Casa Rural Vincent de Pura and explore this quaint village with the enormous caves.

  Never mind, we had a brilliant time and they did drive me around in this quaint village with narrow streets in the center and old real stone buildings. There was also a small supermarket, but it was too late to buy something there.

  The cave itself is very impressive, spacious and very big and long. It was used during the wars for storing weapons and at times for people to hide. Interesting history to say the least!

  Now, Benidoleig is famous for the rather enormous cave there. It is called "cueva de las calaveras" and that means "cave of the sculls". Well, I have visited this cave various times and there is just a small glass box with a few old white bones in there.
